FAQ

Common questions about TEQSA registration.

Straight answers to what providers and aspiring providers ask us most.

How long does TEQSA registration take?

A well-prepared provider registration typically runs on an 18-month horizon, though timelines vary with your starting point and readiness. The biggest cause of delay is incomplete evidence, which is exactly what we prevent.

Do you guarantee TEQSA approval?

No consultant can guarantee a regulator's decision. What we do is maximise your chances by mapping every requirement in the Standards Framework to your organisation, building defensible evidence, and preparing you for TEQSA's questions.

We are an RTO. Can we become a higher education provider?

Yes. Many organisations transition from vocational education into higher education. We assess your readiness and map the pathway from where you are to a registered higher education provider.

What does an engagement cost?

It depends on scope: a new provider registration is very different from a single course review. We scope every engagement after a free initial consultation, so you know exactly what is involved before committing.

What is the Higher Education Standards Framework?

It is the set of Threshold Standards (2021) that all Australian higher education providers must meet, spanning over 250 requirements across seven domains, from student participation and learning outcomes to governance and quality assurance.

What is the difference between registration and course accreditation?

Registration makes your organisation a recognised higher education provider. Course accreditation approves the specific courses you deliver. New providers usually need both, and we handle each end to end.

Do you help with re-registration?

Yes. We prepare your self-assessment and evidence portfolio well ahead of your registration expiry, so renewal is orderly rather than a last-minute scramble.

Where are you based?

We are based in Melbourne, Australia, and work with providers and aspiring providers nationwide.
